About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• reputed company the technical implementation of traditional broadcast production systems and reputed company-based infrastructure to support content acquisition, production, encoding, decoding, and content distribution across multiple networks.
• reputed company our legacy media production infrastructure systems to incorporate advancements such as SMPTE ST 2110, 4K, UHD reputed company, JPEGxs, NDI, ProRes Raw, H.265, AV1, and multi-resolution support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to construct facilities, reputed company equipment, and install systems, including core routing, reputed company, playout, distribution systems, non-reputed company edit systems, graphics, video servers, storage solutions, and automation systems.
• reputed company project plans, schedules, and capital planning, forecasting, and estimations, and collaborate with equipment manufacturers and vendors to understand the reputed company of equipment that might be relevant to support broadcasting facilities and operations.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of broadcast engineering experience.
• BS in Engineering or Computer Science, or a minimum of 5 years' experience in broadcast facilities design and documentation.
• Strong understanding of baseband/IP video, audio, reputed company compression, transport systems, audio/video encoding/transcoding techniques, and formats.
• Knowledge of file transfer acceleration technologies and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, HTTP, UDP, SSL, and SNMP.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Perl, Python, Ruby, reputed company, C, or C++).
• Familiarity with SMPTE standards for broadcast television and video production/streaming environments.
• Knowledge and experience with on-prem and reputed company-based storage and compute infrastructure platforms, file-based workflows, and media systems.
