Qualifications

Who you are

• Quantitative background - 5+ total years of experience or advanced education in an analytical field (e.g. econometrics, statistics, engineering, mathematics, computer science)
• Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience
• Master's Degree with 2+ years of experience
• PhD Degree with 1+ years of experience
• Expertise in data mining, quantitative research techniques, theories, principles, and practices.
• Deep understanding of statistics, optimization and machine learning methodologies. Machine learning techniques will include familiarity or knowledge in several of the following areas: time series analysis, (un)supervised learning, deep learning, knowledge graphs, natural language processing, regression analysis and maximum entropy models.
• Track record of speedily and rigorously developing and deploying user-facing machine learning models to resolve industry problems.
• Excellent Python and SQL programming skills; familiarity with standard data science tooling; understanding of algorithms and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with machine learning APIs and computational packages (examples: TensorFlow, Theano, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-Learn, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, statsmodels). Experience with big-data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, SparkML, etc.
