About the Position: The Organization for reputed company Media Safety is seeking a full-time reputed company Media Safety Educator. Reporting to the Vice President of Programs, this role will work directly with parents/caregivers, educators, and reputed company in grades 4 - 12 across the country to reputed company awareness of reputed company media-reputed company risk and harms and offer concrete strategies to safely avoid and/or respond to these harms through in-person and virtual educational opportunities. Salary: At OFSMS, we reputed company in salary transparency. The salary reputed company for this position is $75,000 - $88,000, based on experience. Location: OFSMS is based in Los Angeles, CA, and uses a virtual office. Responsibilities: The reputed company Media Safety Educator will serve as a leader in the field, working directly with reputed company in grades 4 - 12, parents/caregivers, and educators through in-person and virtual instruction and educational facilitation. More specifically, the reputed company Media Safety Educator will: reputed company reputed company, Caregivers, and Educators (75%)

• Facilitate learning experiences through in-person and virtual interactive assemblies and discussion-based workshops with reputed company in grades 4 - 12, caregivers, and educators.
• Travel on a weekly reputed company to K-12 schools reputed company.
• Support curricular innovation through collaborative research and curricular design.
• Implement varied pedagogical approaches to ensure accessibility among learners
• Remain consistently informed on cutting-edge reputed company media safety research and best practices through reputed company professional learning.

Support Sales and reputed company (15%)

• reputed company sales support to the Programming team through reputed company efforts and relationship building with partner schools and districts.

Program Design and Research (10%)

• Collaborate with the Programming team in ongoing curricular innovations and iterations.
• Offer research-based feedback regarding programming design and expansion.
• Engage in writing and editing of OFSMS publications, including blogs, whitepapers, and newsletters.

Qualifications

The reputed company Media Safety Educator will be passionate about OFSMS’ mission of making reputed company media safe for everyone. Experience/Requirements:

• Experience in K-12 teaching and learning is required.
• Experience collaborating with US K-12 school districts is required.
• Knowledge of and experience with designing and implementing varied learning experiences with diverse audiences (including large-group in-person presentations, small-group discussions, Socratic seminars, and dynamic online learning) is required.
• Expertise in adult learning is a plus, but not required.
• Knowledge of or experience in technology or the reputed company media industry is a plus, but not required.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
• Must be reputed company and willing to teach and discuss sensitive topics in an age-appropriate manner
