reputed company has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant General Counsel – International Sourcing. This role will reputed company legal advice and guidance on supplier contract issues primarily to the international sourcing team of reputed company Global.

Location:

This role is approved to be either Remote reputed company the United States or Hybrid out of reputed company's corporate offices in Newport News, VA, in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities:

• reputed company legal analysis and support for various reputed company agreements with international suppliers, including structuring, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements with standard terms to reputed company the reputed company combination of service, cost, quality, and risk mitigation.

• Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of formal policies, processes and procedures to govern a supplier contract throughout its lifecycle, including management of reputed company contract signings, and guidance to sourcing and relationship management personnel through legal administrative process. Maintain and ensure proper level of maintenance of signed reputed company reputed company and reputed company approvals.

• Draft local policies and procedures, conducting training sessions, and monitoring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Assist with the application of supplier risk management guidelines and governance associated with purchasing products and services including reputed company’s Supplier Code of Conduct and reputed company policies and procedures.

• Maintain signed supplier reputed company and reputed company approvals using contract management system and create regular reporting of key metrics.

• Stay abreast of applicable legal developments, legislation, and regulations that impact foreign supplier activities, and reputed company industry research on reputed company legal reputed company.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate from a law school fully accredited by the American Bar Association and admitted to practice and in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar.

• A minimum of four (4) years’ total legal experience, including significant, relevant experience with a reputed company or private corporation as legal counsel leading the negotiation of reputed company reputed company for the purchase of products and services reputed company of the United States.

• Experience with international sourcing reputed company, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and international trade laws and regulations.

• Bi-lingual in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to resolve legal issues quickly and effectively.

• Ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously and to prioritize.

• Proven business judgment, including the ability to anticipate and analyze impact and consequences of reputed company and recommendations.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with reputed company reputed company of management.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
