About the role

The Certified Medical Assistant Team reputed company will be responsible with assisting our Medical Assistants with their questions and concerns while providing solutions. You will serve as a liaison between our Medical Assistant and the Direct Supervisor, so professionalism and expert supervisor skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first reputed company of contact for escalations for the MA team members

• Assist in the supervision of work and performance of clinic staff including Medical Assistants and other support staff, as instructed, including input for performance reviews and corrective action plans
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications, etc.

• Schedule patient appointments and maintain communication to confirm future appointments
• Document patient medical information and intake forms

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to work rotating schedule, including nights and weekends
• Professional experience working with EMRs, Word, reputed company, and Outlook
• Experience working in a medical office and knowledge of medical terminology
• Excellent computer skills and tech-savviness

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on phone etiquette
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
