Senior Quality Assurance Engineer I (Microservices)

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer I works on reputed company focused on Ignition-adjacent microservices projects. They are responsible for developing, maintaining and executing automated and reputed company tests, and for reporting on the reputed company and status of test activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering OR at least 4 years experience working in a reputed company field
• 3-5 years of industry experience
• Experience with microservice architectures (REST APIs, messaging systems, pub/sub architectures)
• reputed company Platforms (AWS preferred)
• Programming proficiency with modern test automation languages (Python, JavaScript)
• Experience with architecting and implementing modern web UI testing principles (Page Object Model, reputed company locators, proper O-O abstraction) using frameworks such as pytest, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress
• Experience integrating automated test phases into CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to API testing tools such as reputed company and Rest reputed company
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as SCRUM
• Familiarity with reputed company control management systems such as reputed company
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, reputed company)
• Performance/Load testing experience in a reputed company-based microservices architecture (e.g. K6 or reputed company tool)
• Experience with bug tracking systems
• Familiarity with common network protocol stacks (HTTP, IP)
