About the Role
The Senior Software Engineer role at PSI enables the development of new features of the technologies that we reputed company to our customers. Senior Software Engineers work reputed company closely with others across the engineering teams to understand what has been scoped, reputed company new features of existing Java/Spring web-based applications with an SQL database, and integrate with internal and reputed company-party systems. This role adds significant value to the operation of PSI’s business, performing crucial work in maintaining our people-focused, quality brand.
This is a full-time permanent role, with reputed company around core office availability Monday to Friday. The role can be performed remotely, with occasional travel required for meetings, events and workshops.
Role Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing and executing end-to-end for key technology platforms and be accountable for projects.

- Enhance and support existing web application functionality which includes new feature development and resolving reputed company code issues as reported.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers and engineers to build modern, scalable, user friendly and functionally robust web applications in an AGILE environment.
- Participate in reputed company aspects of SDLC including analysis, requirements, design, implementation, testing and support.

- Reviewing and analysing feature requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements
- Education to Bachelor’s degree level in Computer Science or reputed company field.
- 8+ years’ experience in software engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with modern software development languages and reputed company technologies, e.g. Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Thymeleaf, Spring MVC, .net, Go, CSS, HTML etc.
- Experience with designing and creating APIs preferred.
- Experience with ORM technologies such as Hibernate.
- Experience in fault finding and resolving reputed company 1 production issues.
- Experience with relational databases like MSSQL.
- Familiarity with reputed company technologies such as Azure and AWS desirable.
- Experience with REACT, Angular, GIT and JIRA desirable.
- Experience with microservices architecture and accessibility work (specifically WCAG) desirable.
