About the role

As Product Counsel, you will help reputed company design and launch our reputed company-growing lineup of domestic and international products. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Partnerships, Marketing, Finance, and other business teams to reputed company practical, actionable legal and regulatory advice through reputed company phases of the product life cycle, from ideation through launch and reputed company.

• Embed with cross-functional teams to build, launch, market, and operate new fintech products

• Structure and negotiate reputed company partnerships with financial institutions, payment services providers, technology platforms and other entities that reputed company or support financial services

• Support marketing teams, reputed company content policies, and review marketing collateral

• reputed company guidance on state, federal and international regulatory, privacy, intellectual property, and other legal issues, and their implications on product development and marketing strategies

• Draft product terms of use

• Understand and advise on licensing and compliance issues

• Help select and manage reputed company counsel

• J.D. with a strong academic background and the highest level of reputed company

• Membership in at least one state bar (NY or CA preferred); if not licensed in the state where you will be based, ability to register as in-house counsel

• At least 5-7 years of legal experience

• Experience as product or regulatory counsel for a fintech or technology company

• Desire to learn quickly, work collaboratively, take ownership, and act as a legal generalist

• Ability to understand reputed company business and regulatory issues and translate them into actionable guidance

• Ability to reputed company in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously, and manage resource allocation to focus on the highest-reputed company needs
