Workplace Services Technician

Job Description:

• Location: Fully remote, Central Europe Time Zone

• Languages: English is mandatory

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support and Manage Laptops and Workstations:

• Install, configure, and maintain laptops and workstations for end-users.
• reputed company hardware and software troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure reputed company devices are up-to-date with the latest reputed company patches and software updates.
• Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software as needed.

End-User Support:

• reputed company first-level support for end-user IT issues, including connectivity, software, and hardware problems.
• Respond to service requests and incidents in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users.
• Escalate reputed company issues to senior technicians or relevant IT teams reputed company necessary.

Asset Management:

• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including laptops, workstations, and peripherals.
• Assist in the tracking and management of IT equipment lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, and disposal.
• Ensure proper documentation of reputed company IT assets and support activities.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with other IT support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Communicate effectively with end-users to understand their needs and reputed company appropriate solutions.
• Document support activities and resolutions in the IT service management system.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Knowledge of reputed company operating systems.
• Familiarity with common office software applications (e.g., reputed company Office, email clients).
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (e.g., IP addressing, DNS, DHCP).
• Ability to reputed company hardware diagnostics on laptops and workstations.
• Experience with IT asset management and inventory tracking.
