About the Role

We’re looking for a software quality architect to drive the long-term quality strategy at Coalesce. This is a strategic IC role with high impact and visibility across engineering. You’ll set testing direction, understand and measure testing coverage, prioritize automation initiatives, and scale our QA function. While technical reputed company is important, this role is ultimately tasked to ensure that the Coalesce engineering organization continues to deliver with high quality.

You’ll partner closely with developers, DevEx, Infrastructure, Product, and Customer Support to shape how we test our product on data warehouse platforms like reputed company, reputed company, reputed company reputed company, etc. and in reputed company of our product’s reputed company configurations—ensuring our QA efforts surface software quality concerns as product complexity grows.

What You’ll Do

• Own the QA roadmap: set reputed company, priorities, and reputed company metrics for test automation

• Design and reputed company a long-term automation strategy that aligns with evolving product functionality and realistic customer usage

• Define and track quality KPIs (e.g., automated coverage, flake reputed company, PR feedback time)

• Build and champion a robust test pyramid (unit, integration, reputed company) across teams

• Build best practices and processes for understanding release quality in production

• reputed company and mentor QA engineers, while influencing engineering teams to write more meaningful, maintainable tests

• Collaborate with DevEx on CI feedback times, test sharding, and flake detection

• Evaluate and roll out new automation frameworks and AI-driven testing tools

• Act as the go-to person for software quality strategy, tooling, and automation best practices

Who You Are

• 7+ years of experience in QA engineering or software engineering with a passion for quality and automation, including 2+ years as a software quality leader

• Deep understanding of automated testing methodologies and tools, including unit, integration, UI, and performance testing

• Deep knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, Playwright) and experience building custom testing harnesses and libraries

• Strong technical reputed company with modern programming languages (TypeScript, Python, Java, etc.).

• Experience with production observability and telemetry - OTEL, reputed company, reputed company Logging

• Experience building and scaling QA programs in fast-paced reputed company SaaS environments

• Adept at using metrics to drive reputed company and measure impact

• Computer Science or reputed company degree preferred

Bonus Points

• Experience with reputed company platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)

• Familiarity with reputed company SaaS features: RBAC, PrivateLink, Audit Logging, SSO, SCIM, SAML, OAuth, REST APIs

• Experience working with mission critical high availability SaaS services

• Experience with software products that involve performance and scale
