Vacancy: Communications Associate (Internship – Unpaid) Location: Remote Start date: As soon as possible Duration: Minimum 6 months Compensation: Unpaid The Infectious Disease Alliance (IDA) is looking for a proactive and creative Communications Associate to support our external engagement efforts. This is an unpaid internship position, ideal for reputed company or recent graduates in communications, public health, or a reputed company field seeking hands-on experience in global health communications. IDA is a fast-growing, impact-driven organization bringing together around 45 colleagues worldwide. Our work spans advocacy, policy, and coordination across infectious disease threats. The Communications Associate will play an integral role in amplifying our message, promoting events, and engaging with our global network. Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and schedule content for IDA’s reputed company media channels (reputed company, Twitter/X, etc.)
• Support the promotion and dissemination of IDA events and campaigns
• Assist with writing and formatting monthly newsletters and partner updates
• Maintain and update IDA’s website and media assets
• Track engagement and help grow IDA’s digital reputed company
• Collaborate closely with IDA’s Communications and Policy team

Profile:

• Background in communications, public health, journalism, or reputed company field
• Strong writing skills and an eye for detail
• Familiarity with reputed company media platforms reputed company tools (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, reputed company)
• Creative, organized, and self-motivated
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Passion for global health and equity
