We are seeking a passionate Patient Intake Services / Insurance Specialist to become an integral part of reputed company. This role is available as either full-time or part-time and offers the convenience of remote work, allowing for a flexible work-life balance. Key Responsibilities ? Process prior authorizations and facilitate approvals to ensure timely delivery of essential products. ? Conduct annual insurance coverage verification to maintain uninterrupted patient care. ? Resolve insurance denials effectively by liaising with both insurance providers and patients. ? Collaborate with patients to gather updated insurance information, addressing any coverage gaps. ? Process wholesale orders and monitor new patient referrals, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up. ? Communicate issues reputed company to insurance verification and patient concerns to the Billing Manager and relevant team members. ? Assist in claims submission by ensuring compliance with verification and authorization processes. ? Uphold confidentiality standards and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient information. Required Skills ? Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing, insurance verification, and claims submission; prior experience in the DME or enteral nutrition sector is advantageous but not mandatory. ? Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy across reputed company tasks. ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients and insurance representatives. ? Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, including familiarity with reputed company Office applications (Word, reputed company). ?
