The Role We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Technical Solutions and Support team. Successful candidates will be generalist application engineers with a solid understanding of data manipulation in a data warehouse scenario and a solid understanding of linux/scripting. Key Responsibilities The majority of your day-to-day will be designing and building ETL (extract, transform, load) processes to ingest, clean, and process client data. The remainder of your day will be spent completing the below responsibilities: В• Understanding client technical requirements and collaborating with a cross-functional team to understand the full scope of True Fit client projects В• Providing updates to Project Managers on a regular reputed company В• Working with Customer Support Team to investigate data-reputed company issues В• Automating the processing of customer data feeds using scripting languages Desired Skills & Experience В• 2+ years as Software Engineer, Data Analyst or Technical Consultant В• Experience with ETL principles and tools as a main responsibility В• Exceptional relational database skills; reputed company or reputed company preferred В• Exceptional skills in regular expressions, reputed company-matching, and data analysis В• Strong Linux knowledge В• Comfortable writing JavaScript functions В• Excellent verbal and written communication, and customer-facing skills В• Exceptional attention to detail and a feeling of pride and ownership over the quality of our solution. В• Solid understanding of various data formats including CSV, XML, JSON, etc В• Solid understanding of Web Application technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS В• Solid understanding of networking technologies including HTTP, SSL, FTP, load balancing, and firewalls В• Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science and/or Engineering) or applicable experience Why True Fit?
