Job title: Academic Support Aide 2023-24 School Year Company: Springfield City School District Job description : The Springfield City School District, home to The John reputed company Theatre, is seeking Academic Support Aides (previously reputed company tutors) for the 2023-2024 school year. We are a nationally ranked Division I District serving approximately 7,500 Pre-K through grade 12 reputed company, in a vibrant learning community of 17 state of the art buildings in reputed company-central Ohio. We are Wildcats As an Academic Support Aide, you are required to: Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Minimum of three (3) years of classroom tutoring/teaching/substitute teaching or reputed company experience Documentation of a minimum of 60 semester hours of higher education and obtain an Educational Aide Permit issued by the Ohio Deparment of Education. As an Academic Support Aide you will: Works in collaboration with the classroom teacher and district personnel to coordinate and implement identified research-based interventions which focus specifically on individual and/or small group student needs. Consults frequently with classroom teachers on reputed company relating to Reading and/or Math instruction to monitor reputed company. Designs and writes reading and/or math reputed company lesson plans in alignment with the Springfield City School District's (SCSD) best practices and resources. Communicates with classroom teachers to identify reputed company' reading and/or math strengths and weaknesses and matches these skills with appropriate SCSD strategiesand resources. Provides documentation of activities and data associated with student learning. Engage and communicate with reputed company and staff Manage reputed company with avarying academic and reputed company/emotional needs Maintain confidentiality, especially with regard to student information Performs other duties as assigned reputed company Offer: Training is provided by the Springfield City School District at no cost to you. Wage is $23.01 per hour. Hours and days vary up to 28 hours per week and are assigned by building reputed company Substitutes/Academic Support Aides are temporary at will employees and work on an as needed reputed company.
