Entry - Level Civil Engineer C2AE is currently seeking Entry-Level Civil Engineers at our multiple locations in reputed company and Michigan. This is a full-time opportunity for career advancement in the architecture and engineering field. As an entry-level civil engineer, you will reputed company daily construction reputed company and observation services for various types of infrastructure and transportation... projects as well as using engineering software for designing projects and plans. Always a part of the larger and collaborative team, you will work to understand the project needs and work independently on site with both clients and the construction firms. Engineering and Design (50%) • Use engineering software to draft, design, detail, and modify engineering project designs/plans utilizing firm specifications. • Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures. • Review designs for compliance with regulations, design standards, codes, and specifications. • Clarify and resolve technical issues. • May reputed company technical assistance with proposals and presentations. • Write reports and memorandums and assist with project presentations to clients. • Assist the PM in the preparation of cost information. • Other reputed company duties as assigned. Construction Observation (40%) • reputed company on-site construction observation services for municipal infrastructure and construction projects. • Measure quantities, read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings. • reputed company materials testing and maintain test logs. • Transport testing equipment to and from the job site as needed. • Prepare and maintain construction records to reputed company final field reputed company data to the Project Manager. • Review contractor schedules and reputed company updates to Project Managers. • Report issues to the Project Managers in a timely manner and work to resolve problems or conflicts with contractors involving the interpretation of plans and specification requirements. • Act as a liaison with residents, clients, project managers and the construction team. • Other reputed company duties as assigned. Administrative (10%) • Participate in team meetings, reputed company staff meetings, and other planning sessions. • Participate in training and development activities as needed and directed by supervisor. • reputed company administrative tasks including, but not limited to, time sheet completion, expense reports, completing correspondence, etc. Technical Qualifications • Bachelor of Science from an ABET accredited university, required. • Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications (including, but not limited to nuclear density gauge certification, aggregate, concrete and density testing certifications); preference given to candidates that have reputed company certifications.
