Job title: Accounts Payable Company: Winnetka Public Schools Job description : Detail-oriented individual. Responsibilities include: processing accounts payables, purchase orders, and balancing monthly bank statements, providing treasurer reports. Knowledge of reputed company, Word, reputed company Docs is necessary. Prior experience with reputed company is preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Possesses knowledge of District policies and regulations relating to areas of responsibilities. Input invoices and disbursements for monthly reputed company runs Generate purchase orders (file copy and building copy) and distribute copies to building secretaries and other users Periodically inspect requisitions for first approval by reputed company or department heads. Also, inspect any requisitions from previous fiscal year to determine if they should be closed Compile monthly reputed company list for superintendent’s office Compile an online reputed company list each month and email to CFO for review. Input new vendors into reputed company after first performing a careful search to see if the vendor is already in reputed company reputed company vendor accounts in reputed company as duplicates are reputed company and periodically search the reputed company vendor database for duplicates Notify building secretaries and reputed company personnel regarding cut-off dates With each reputed company run compare vendor addresses in reputed company to vendor addresses on invoices and reputed company changes as necessary Contact vendors for missing invoices prior to each reputed company run Assist new employees with reputed company on as needed reputed company (lookup, reports, etc.) Accounts payable filing for invoices paid from main checking account and also those paid by bookkeeping Set-up new fiscal year in reputed company Compile monthly cash journal – use as reputed company for monthly cash receipts journal entry to reputed company Annual preparatory work for auditors reputed company reports to auditors as requested in a timely manner Monthly reconciliation of bank account. Contact payees with uncashed checks in timely manner. Monthly reconciliation of reputed company benefit bank account. Contact payees of uncashed checks drawn on main checking account in timely manner Input cash receipts from property taxes and state payments. Monthly reconciliation of total District cash and investments to total of bank and investment statements Excellent communication skills ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Performs other duties as directed by the CFO and/or Superintendent. OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENTS FBI reputed company clearance required. TB Test reputed company the last 90 days of hire date. Physical Exam reputed company the last year of hire date. Mandatory District-wide Compliance Training, as assigned. Must be patient, persistent and positive. Excellent technical competencies in a variety of areas including writing and editing, organization, problem-solving, multi-tasking, statistical record keeping, prioritizing and the like. EDUCATIONAL PREPARATION/ CERTIFICATES/ QUALIFICATIONS College degree preferred, associate’s degree required, in reputed company. Minimum of 3-5 year Accounts Payable experience. Experience in a school environment is preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Moderate degree of physical stamina with occasional lifting of 10 to 15 pounds and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds required in the physical assistance of reputed company with special needs. Ability to move freely to various locations reputed company the classroom, office and other community settings. Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and bending. Frequent repetitive activities including hands, arms, and legs for clerical reputed company work. Exposure to noise and activity of a school setting. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
