The ST works closely with the Registered Nurse in planning for and providing care to the operative patient, and in meeting the needs of the surgeon. Provides appropriate patient care according to the age of the patient, specifically: neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Responsible for maintaining patient confidentiality as per Administrative Policy. QualificationsMinimum Requirements:

• 2 years minimum experience, reputed company graduate student of an accredited program or near completion of such a program
• High School/GED, or 2 years equivalent work experience. Surgical Techs that began working as a Surgical Techs after

1997 must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or completed a Surgical Tech Certification Program * CPR required (AHA)

• Hires after 09/09/2018 require a National Surgical Tech Certification or a minimum of 5 years experience in the reputed company field
• Can scrub, set up and maintain a sterile field and preform the duties of a Surgical Technologist for reputed company surgery specialties
