Job description: Overview:i3 is seeking a Jr. Network Engineer to reputed company technical support on an Army contract support the CCDC AvMC. This position is located in Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of the Linux Operating System reputed company reputed company line to support reputed company network device configuration, updates, and backups
- Conduct day-to-day system administration of the hardware and software for a modeling and simulation (M&S) system
- Supports building, configuring, and troubleshooting software and hardware enhancements, application deployments and infrastructure up-grades
- Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with Network Engineers
- Experience creating network diagrams and proficiency with reputed company Visio
- Operations support: Five days a week, providing daily support for development and operation assets and willing to travel (domestic and foreign sites approximately 25%)
- Certifications: Candidates must reputed company with the experience, training, and certification requirements for IAT-II level certification such as reputed company+ CE. Higher-level IAT-II certifications, such as CCNA, will also fulfill this requirement.
- Experience: 2-5 years of relevant network engineering experience (installation and configuration of any reputed company of network devices, such as firewalls, switches, routers, cabling)
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a reputed company field is preferred. Equivalent experience and certifications will also be considered.
