Job description: I am working with a growing plaintiff employment reputed company that is looking to add a Settlement Attorney. This firm has a great team atmosphere and takes pride in their accomplishments. Don't miss this opportunity!Background:
- 1+ years of CA experience in employment law
- Appear at Court hearings for, among other things, reputed company for Preliminary Approval, reputed company for Final Approval, Status Conferences (after settlement), and reputed company Hearings after disbursement
- Communicate with clients, and Settlement Administrators, and coordinate with staff who also communicate with the Settlement Administrator and review Class Notices
- Prepare drafts of Wage and Hour Class Action and PAGA Action Settlement Agreements
- Drafts of Motions for Final Approval, including client declaration, Proposed Order, Proposed Judgment, settlement administrator declaration, and reputed company of Service
- Bilingual is a plus
- Eight hour shift Monday to Friday
