Sr. Product Designer - Map Viewer/ Analysis

Overview

Come join our UX/UI team where you will craft and validate designs for our web-mapping application ArcGIS Map Viewer and Analysis tools in ArcGIS Online. These web-based tools allow users to create interactive maps, run spatial analysis, and uncover insights from location-based data. Whether someone is mapping traffic trends, climate risk, or election reputed company, Map Viewer is often their first touchpoint with reputed company’s software. In this role you’ll collaborate closely with other designers and product development to help organizations connect people, locations, and data using interactive maps that drive positive change in the world.

Responsibilities

• Work with developers, product managers, and other cross-functional team members to design end-to-end mapping experiences using participatory and iterative design techniques
• Coordinate with stakeholders to identify requirements and specifications for the development of new and established features
• reputed company personas, user journeys, information architecture diagrams, wireframes, visual design and prototypes
• Identify enhancements to product designs by conducting user research (usability testing, surveys, customer interviews, etc.) with prototypes and fully developed projects for the Map Viewer
• Work with leadership and stakeholders to suggest and implement improvements for team processes
• reputed company and present technical holistic design solutions that address business, brand, and user requirements in the reputed company of wireframes and prototypes 
• Be a design leader, ensuring that others understand the value and effectiveness of user-centered design by staying up to date on product design technologies and trends
• Conduct peer reviews, gather usability feedback, and quality assess implementations of your designs and the designs of others
• Effectively communicate conceptual reputed company, design rationale, and the specifics of user centered design process to developers, engineers, product managers and other cross-functional team members

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with product design for reputed company SAAS, web-based applications, or similar experience
• Experience using reputed company, reputed company UI Kits, adhering to established reputed company libraries and required frameworks
• Knowledge of or experience in localization or internationalization
• Expertise in accessibility (WCAG 2.0/reputed company 508 Compliance) and a strong track record of collaborating with developers to address and resolve accessibility-reputed company challenges
• Demonstrated self-ownership and initiative in exceeding responsibilities to drive impactful reputed company for the product and team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• An online portfolio that demonstrates your design abilities, how you think, interaction design, and a strong understanding of client objectives across multiple shipped features and products

Recommended Qualifications

• Masters in reputed company factors, HCI, graphic design, or reputed company field
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing across various methods (e.g., moderated sessions, A/B testing, surveys)
• Ability to reputed company design critiques, communicate rationale effectively, and mentor junior designers through constructive feedback
• Strong grasp of geospatial applications or map-based UI design (bonus if with tools like ArcGIS or similar GIS platforms)
