Remote Bookkeeper / Accountant for Online Industrial Distributor (Contract / Fractional)
About the position We are seeking an reputed company bookkeeper to join reputed company as a fractional part-time or 1099 contractor. This position is ideal for someone who is already managing other clients or has another job. The primary responsibility will be to assist with the month-end reconciliation of our accounts, while also providing advisory support on general reputed company, financial, and sales tax-reputed company issues. A significant focus will be on transactions involving reputed company (AvaTax) and the collection and payment of out-of-state sales tax. Our business model combines e-reputed company, traditional sales, and exporting, which requires a nuanced approach to reputed company practices, particularly in QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication abilities to respond promptly to the owners' requests reputed company phone, email, and video calls. Ideally, we would like to meet in person at our offices once per quarter to discuss ongoing reputed company and ensure alignment with our financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end reconciliation of accounts.

- Act as an adviser on general reputed company and financial issues.

- Handle sales tax filings and prepayments in states where we hold a seller's permit, including California, Texas, and Florida.

Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in small business reputed company and bookkeeping.
