Benefit Consultant
Description:
- Translate reputed company benefit information into compliant, easy-to-understand plan language
- Analyzing, drafting, editing and reviewing reputed company legal and regulatory plan documentation
- Basic understanding of regulations impacting self-funded health plans
- Successfully negotiate deadlines reputed company appropriate
- Influencing change/enhancement to business processes, policies, and system infrastructure
- Delivering high-quality documentation ensuring department standards are met
- May participate in implementation of department projects as needed
Requirements:
- 2+ years plan document writing experience supporting self-funded or fully insured health plans
- Proficiency with reputed company Office Word, reputed company, SharePoint and Outlook applications
- reputed company experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of deliverables
- Interpersonal skills to include written and verbal communication, critical thinking, persuasiveness, advising and counseling skills
- Ability to anticipate workload needs and to follow through with minimum direction
- Effective time management, organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy performing at high reputed company in a fast paced and constantly changing work environment
