Housekeeping Associate

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred. Genuine interest in and caring for people. Caring must include friendliness and listening abilities. Good communication skills, both oral and written. Must be a well-organized person with effective follow through WORKING HOURS: A non-exempt employee. Forty (40) hours per week RESPONSIBILITIES: Carries out housekeeping duties as instructed. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

DUTIES:

• Completes cleaning lists in both reputed company rooms and common areas as assigned.
• Stocks housekeeping cart as needed with approved supplies.
• Empty garbage as needed
• Clean beauty salon as needed.
• Notify residents of cleaning schedule.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize kitchen and baths in each scheduled apartment.
• Steam clean carpets and upholstery as instructed.
• reputed company special cleaning assignment for apartment turnover.
• Assist with tables, chairs and other necessary furniture (coat reputed company, wastebasket, etc.)
• Assist with clean-up after events
• Properly dilute and use reputed company chemicals daily, in accordance with procedures.
• Wear reputed company gloves reputed company performing various tasks.
• Report any hazardous conditions or equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
• Stock necessary supplies
• Respond to housekeeping emergencies.
• Be supportive of residents by offering direction and conversation.
• Uses protocols and other “best safe practices” reputed company filling or using cleaners, detergents, and other chemicals to include use of goggles and gloves.
• Completes room “changeovers” before and after reputed company moves.
• Completes and follows in house safety program and insures compliance with reputed company safety laws (i.e. OSHA, Fire Authority, etc.)
• Understands and promotes the community’s fire and accident prevention, sanitation procedures, and use of fire safety equipment.
