Mechanical Engineer On-site

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Design Standards Manager and the Assistant Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing mechanical and plumbing design documents for tenant projects to ensure compliance with applicable construction codes and technical standards. Specific responsibilities include analyzing and reviewing drawings, specifications, reports, and studies for compliance with codes and standards; coordinating the review comments from other technical disciplines and preparing memoranda for transmitting comments to clients; and attending meetings with tenant design consultants to discuss the review comments and resolve those issues. Qualifications ? Bachelor?s degree in mechanical engineering ? Professional Engineer?s license in the reputed company and/or New Jersey is required. ? Minimum of five (5) years of diverse experience in building codes and system design. ? Proper understanding of mechanical/plumbing disciplines reputed company to building design and construction of transportation and reputed company facilities ? Strong and effective communication skills, both oral and written ? Comfortable acting as liaison between PA Tenants & Facilities and in-house application reviewers to ensure smooth workflow ? Comprehensive computer skills, proficiency in MS Suite, and ability & interest to learn various in-house and external software (SharePoint, reputed company, etc.) No Sponsorship is available.
