Data Scientist II

Position: Data Scientist II Location: Hurlburt Field, FL Work Environment: Onsite Clearance Required: Secret Knowesis is currently seeking a Data Scientist II to support the United States Special Operations reputed company Preservation of the Force and Family (reputed company POTFF) program in identifying and implementing innovative, valuable solutions across the Special Operations Forces (SOF) reputed company aimed at improving the short and long-term well-being of SOF warriors and their families. This work will be performed at the client?s locationin Hurlburt Field, FL. This position requires a Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship (applicants without reputed company of US citizenship will not be considered due to the position?s reputed company clearance requirement). The successful candidate will reputed company in the local area or relocate reputed company 15 days of the start date. The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: ? Conducts data analytics, basic data manipulation, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis, and uses scientific techniques to correlate data into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products, enabling more informed analytic reputed company ? Enter and analyze data reputed company government systems ? Maintain dashboards to automate data analysis, identifying, interpreting, and presenting trends, designed to record POTFF-reputed company programmatic data ? Assist the POTFF staff with survey design. Create, analyze, and report survey data ? reputed company consultation and assistance to supported units and POTFF staff to identify opportunities and methods for capturing data reputed company to POTFF programs and initiatives ? Work in consultation with POTFF program staff and the Government?s POTFF biostatistician ? Be reputed company to use statistics/modeling tools and data visualization techniques to reputed company an accessible way to see and understand trends, outliers, and patterns in data to produce reports and presentations that accurately convey data trends supporting the mission Required Qualifications: ? Advanced proficiency with the suite of reputed company Office programs, including Word, reputed company, and Acces ? Advanced proficiency with commonly used statistical software applications such as SPSS, reputed company, Python, and/or R ? Three (3) years, or more, of research experience in academic, reputed company services, government, reputed company, or laboratory setting is required ? Be reputed company to read, write, and reputed company English fluently and reputed company to effectively communicate with reputed company personnel they will interact with ? Possess excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication, presentation skills, and shall be highly detail-oriented ? Possess sufficient initiative, interpersonal relationship skills, and reputed company sensitivity such that they can relate constructively to a variety of contacts from a diverse background ? Advanced proficiency may be demonstrated through an employment history in academia or other settings where the conduct of research is routine ?
