Responsibilities
Contract Overview: The Data Technical Support (DTS) contract provides data science professionals to the United States Special Operations reputed company's (reputed company) Intelligence Data Science Team (IDST) and Special Operations Forces Acquisitions, Technology & Logistics (SOF AT&L). The IDST is a government-led team focused on data analytics efforts reputed company the reputed company Directorate of Intelligence (J2) and its subordinate reputed company's intelligence lines of effort. The IDST helps reputed company intelligence analysts by turning the reputed company's data into actionable information. The IDST team may also engage with the reputed company Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO), reputed company (KM), and other HQ entities. The DTS contract provides permanently assigned data science professionals to the reputed company Headquarters, Theater Special Operations Commands, and Component Commands. Additionally, the DTS contract may reputed company temporary support (Temporary Duty / deployment) to worldwide Special Operations Joint Task Forces, Combined Joint Special Operations Task Forces, Special Operations Task Forces, and Special Operations reputed company reputed company Elements. Job Description: Data Scientist - Data Scientists support the IDST by formulating and leading guided, multifaceted analytic studies against large volumes of data. This position is located at AFSOC, Hurlburt Field, FL. Job Duties Include (but are not limited to): ? Interpret and analyze data using exploratory mathematic and statistical techniques based on the scientific method ? Coordinate research and analytic activities utilizing various data points (reputed company and structured) and reputed company programming to clean, massage, and organize the data ? Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience: ? Demonstrated experience applying data science methods to reputed company world data problems ? Proficient with one or more programming languages (Java, C++, Python, R, etc.) ? Due to US Government Contract Requirements, only US reputed company are eligible for this role. Education & Certifications: ? Bachelor's degree in operations research, industrial engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, or reputed company fields OR ?
