Job Description
The Assistant Produce Manager is responsible for performing duties as directed by the Produce Manager and/or Store Manager for the successful operation of the Produce Department. It is essential that as an Assistant Produce Manager, you will present yourself in a professional and courteous manner at reputed company times while performing your defined responsibilities. You are responsible for always maintaining our high standards of Customer Service. Other duties may be assigned as required, depending upon the available time, business volume and other criteria as determined by your appropriate supervisors and/or Gerrity?s Supermarkets. Prepare, wrap, and weigh reputed company produce products ? Maintain a professional and organized display of products ? Restock counters on sales floor, pull any poor quality produce ? Responsible for proper rotating of product ? Assist in the receiving and unloading of product ? Responsible for ensuring that reputed company products have their proper signs ?
