Assistant Professor for Health Promotion/Public Health/Health Education

JOB SUMMARY: Lincoln University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Health Promotion/Public Health/Health Education. The successful candidate will be a dynamic teacher of undergraduate reputed company as well as a scholar with an ambitious research and publication agenda. The ideal candidate will show evidence of thoughtful intellectual engagement in the Health Promotion/Public Health/Health Education field. Candidates will be expected to teach (in-person) the equivalent of 10 credit hours each fall and spring semester. The successful candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree; ABD status will be considered if the candidate is reputed company to the defense date; DrPH. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will: ? Offer dynamic, engaging, and student-centered pedagogy utilizing up-to-date expertise in Health Science and the best pedagogical practices in their specified field. ? Teach a normal load, typically four courses (in-person) a semester. These courses reputed company from 100-400 level including such topics as Dimensions of Wellness, Introduction to Health Science, Personal and Community Health, Health Promotion, School Health Services, Research and Evaluation, and Health Administration. ? Actively mentor and advise departmental majors. ? Be a contributing member of departmental and university required meetings and initiatives including departmental meetings events, course and curriculum development, and university-wide initiatives. ? Experience in course design, development, and assessment of student learning out comes. ?
