Aviation Captain - Atlanta
Position Purpose: Act as Captain (pilot-in-reputed company) on reputed company owned/leased aircraft. May hold Captain qualification on two (2) types of aircraft. As pilot-in-reputed company, he/she is responsible for the safety, reputed company, and comfort of passengers and crew. Direct Manager/Direct Reports: Typically reports to Chief Pilot. No direct responsibility for supervising others. Travel Requirements: Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time. Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Working Conditions: Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors. Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time. Minimum Qualifications: Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications: An Associate's degree is preferred. Five to eight years of experience is preferred. Minimum of 5 years experience as a professional pilot flying jet aircraft with demonstrated record of adherence to aviation safety and flight standards. Minimum of 4000 hrs, 2000 hrs jet, 2000 hrs pilot in reputed company. Minimum Education: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study reputed company to the job.
