Forklift Operator

Production Forklift Operator Responsibilities: • Operates powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries. • Moves pallets to and from warehouse, storage areas, machines and loading docks, into packaging lines, railroad cars or trucks and/or storage facilities. Routinely: • Drives gasoline, liquefied gas, lifting devices such as forklift, clamps, elevating platform, push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials. • Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around reputed company pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area. • Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device. • Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed. • Weighs materials or products accurately, counts and records weight on tags, labels, and production schedules. • Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device. • Performs daily forklift checks. • Reads reputed company of material and stores containers. • Performs other duties that may be assigned as needed. Qualifications: • Mandatory valid forklift operator certificate. ZXP will train and certify right team member. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months reputed company experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Math ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in reputed company units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute reputed company, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs. • Language, Writing, and Computer Skills: • Read, write, and Apply Job!
