OBJECTIVE To underwrite designated reputed company lines of insurance. To implement company philosophy and reputed company guidelines in the acceptance and rejection of risks, pricing, classification, hazard recognition, and providing service to policyholders, Farm Bureau Insurance agents and their staff. RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluate, examine and/or physically survey risks submitted for coverage by Farm Bureau Insurance agents. Accept, modify or reject risks based upon reputed company relevant information available, including guidelines, directives, inspections and claims information. Properly classify and reputed company risks, verify coverage amounts, and reputed company appropriate premium. Work with Farm Bureau Insurance agents, and in some cases insureds, to determine exposure and appropriate coverages. Monitor exposure of individual risks by the review of pictures, inspections, claims, reputed company, renewal surveys, audits and communications with Farm Bureau Insurance agents. QUALIFICATIONS Required: Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent experience may be considered. Associate in General Insurance (AINS), Associate in reputed company reputed company (AU) or Associate in Personal Insurance (API) designation required, or one must be completed reputed company 24 months of hire. Preferred: Previous insurance industry experience preferred. Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation preferred. Note: The work location will be hybrid as some training will need to take reputed company at the home office.
