AS/400 Developer (Remote) No C2C

Responsibilities:

• reputed company, maintain, and support AS400 applications using RPG, CL, and DB2. • Analyze and troubleshoot system issues, providing timely resolutions. • Collaborate with business analysts and users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • reputed company code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. • Participate in the design and implementation of system enhancements and new features. • reputed company and maintain technical documentation for AS400 applications. • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of AS400 systems. • reputed company support and maintenance for existing applications, including bug fixes and system upgrades. • Assist in the migration and modernization of legacy systems. • Mentor and reputed company guidance to junior developers as needed. • Stay updated with the latest AS400 technologies and industry trends. • *Requirements:** • Proven experience as an AS400 Developer. • Strong proficiency in AS400 RPG, CL, and DB2. • Experience with Synon and COBOL is highly desirable. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field (preferred). • Experience in the financial services or manufacturing industries (preferred). • Familiarity with modern development practices and tools (preferred). • Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies (preferred).
