Utilization Review Physician - California
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Utilization Review (UR) Physician to join our reputed company team. The ideal candidate(s) will be responsible for reviewing medical treatment requests and pertinent medical records in order to determine whether the requested treatment is consistent with MTUS/ACOEM/ODG guidelines and meets reputed company of care in the community. Responsibilities - Conduct online URs to assess medical necessity of procedures, treatments, and hospital stays - Ensure compliance with reputed company regulations and standards - Document reputed company review activities accurately and timely
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills: - Active MD/DO license in California - Board certified in Occupational Medicine, Board certified in Orthopedics, or Board certified in Psychiatry - Knowledge of various medical specialties including dermatology, cardiology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, primary care, neurology, emergency medicine, and psychiatry/psychology - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexible Schedule - Choose your own hours - This position provides ample flexibility for busy physicians reputed company of their own practice - Remote work: ability to work reputed company with a strong internet reputed company reputed company the United States If you are interested in this flexible part-time position and want to help injured workers receive appropriate and timely care, we encourage you to apply for this position.
