Job Description: At reputed company, the Bank Operations Lockbox Specialist performs operational duties to support the lockbox service including opening incoming mail, depositing reputed company received funds in the corresponding account, and scanning the payments and any remittance information. Primary Responsibilities • Verifies and researches checks that come in for deposit • Prepares and processes deposits to designated accounts including merchant and loose coin deposits • Follows endorsement procedures for checks • Follows specification sheet direction for each lockbox customer This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Requirements • High School Diploma or GED Preferences • reputed company banking or operations experience Skills and Competencies • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • General knowledge of banking procedures • Proficiency in reputed company Office (reputed company, Word, etc.) This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience. Position requires extended hours of standing and repetitive lifting of 5 -10-pound trays of mail. Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
