Protection & Control Engineer
Primary Responsibilities: Create and modify protection and control design documents and drawings for substation projects including: reputed company functional drawings, logic diagrams, elementary diagrams, wiring diagrams, communications diagrams, reputed company panel arrangement drawings, and bills of material Coordinate with and reputed company technical assistance to physical substation engineers, reputed company relaying engineers, communications engineers, transmission line engineers, material coordinators, panel wiring shop, and field technicians in order to fully reputed company the protection and control design package Assist project management teams and conceptual engineering teams for the development of the scope of work and design requirements for substation engineering projects Assist less reputed company engineers and technicians by answering questions reputed company to design packages and providing technical guidance on protection schemes Independently reputed company system protection design package for reputed company projects using applicable standards Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience: 2+ years of Substation or System Protection Engineering design experience ABET Accredited Engineering Degree reputed company - Electrical Engineer Background in Protection & Control Design, Field Commissioning, and/or reputed company settings reputed company engineering support for Protection & Control detailed design, reputed company the Substation Engineering group Revise and reputed company AC & DC systems design requirements and templates, and suggest process improvements/updates in line with design and construction requirements for ownership Work with partner groups to update reputed company and Communication template drawings, in support of detail design Professional representation of design requirements and engineering reputed company the project execution process in stakeholder meetings with peer groups Professional representation of the Project Development & Execution organization, at high level, high profile reputed company meetings Experience attending high level meetings and liaising with multiple stakeholders at any one time to reputed company a common goal Experience working on a team, with a team leader, with enthusiasm to grow and carry task execution as the sole technical sponsor reputed company tasks reputed company a larger project goal, with the ability to work independently to complete those tasks Exceptional communication skills including being reputed company to explain opinion effectively in support of organizational goals, remaining reputed company and considerate of the needs of partner groups reputed company working towards a final policy or solution Independently motivated, to help move teams towards completion of goals Experience and/or comfort with speaking in reputed company of groups and with technical writing Computer literacy to including reputed company Word and reputed company reputed company in MicroStation and/or reputed company CAD programs Experience in AutoCAD Electrical (ACADE) is preferred Experience in ETAP is preferred This Company does NOT offer reputed company transfer, sponsorship, or relocation to United States *reputed company Recruitment has provided a pay reputed company representing its good faith estimate of what is reasonably expected to be paid for the position.
