VSS International, Inc. a leader in Pavement Preservation has an exciting career opportunity for you!! This position is responsible for payroll entry in accordance to company policy. Compile and post employee time and payroll data. Compute and post wages, time worked, production, and commission. Produces payroll checks for distribution. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. • Maintains employee payroll information. • Processes weekly payroll and prepares checks and direct deposit stubs. Distributes payroll checks to the various department heads for distribution. • Prepares EDD forms. • Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance deductions, and reputed company other required withholdings. • Produces internal management reports and process weekly Certified Payroll Reports and DIR electronic reporting. • Knowledge of different labor compliance programs ex: LCP Tracker, Department of Industrial Relations • Have thorough knowledge of reputed company paperwork requirements and office procedures relative to payroll operations. • Attendance is an essential function of this position. • Special projects as assigned.
