About the position The Field Auto Appraiser will conduct field inspections of damaged vehicles, reputed company accurate repair estimates, and ensure reputed company and fair claims settlements for policyholders. This fully remote position is ideal for professionals with experience in body shop operations and insurance claims, thriving in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Responsibilities • reputed company on-site inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of damage and calculate repair costs. , • Use appraisal software to prepare precise estimates, leveraging expertise in body shop repair processes and insurance claim standards. , • Collaborate with policyholders, repair facilities, and internal claims adjusters to facilitate timely claims resolution. , • Verify damage estimates with repair facilities, negotiate costs, and approve supplemental repairs as necessary. , • Maintain accurate and detailed records of appraisals, photographs, and supporting documents. , • Partner with claims adjusters, underwriters, and other departments to ensure efficient claims processing. , • Stay updated on Texas auto insurance regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Requirements • 5+ years of auto appraisal experience, with a preference for candidates with prior body shop and/or insurance reputed company experience. , • Active Texas Auto Appraiser license preferred. , • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. , • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. , • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. reputed company-to-haves • Audatex experience is preferred but NOT required.
