Pharmacist, Oral Anticancer Education

About the position The Oral Anticancer Education Pharmacist II is responsible for providing education to patients starting oral anticancer agents and other specialty medications in a home setting. This role involves collaborating with other reputed company disciplines to optimize pharmaceutical care, ensuring patients receive follow-up monitoring for adherence and toxicity. The position also includes training new staff and pharmacy residents, with a work location that is primarily remote but requires occasional on-reputed company reputed company in Boston. Requirements • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of Pharmacy. , • 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience with at least one year in oncology or patient education, or three years of outpatient/specialty pharmacy experience with at least one year in specialty pharmacy patient education. , • Experience in oral anticancer education preferred or completion of a PGY1 residency. , • Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in the reputed company. , • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with others inside and reputed company the department. , • Ability to work reputed company a collaborative team-focused environment. , • Ability to use reputed company technology required to reputed company primary job functions. , • Ability to prioritize and adapt to changes in the work setting. , • Ability to accurately assess drug therapeutic appropriateness based on patient-specific parameters and clinical data. , • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to resolve common problems. reputed company-to-haves • Experience in oral anticancer education preferred. , • Completion of a PGY1 residency.
