As an Associate Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and synthesizing medical policy information to identify the actual business needs of stakeholders. This position involves monitoring and guidance from management to facilitate business requirements gathering and documentation, while also supporting Utilization Management activities and initiatives. You will be instrumental in aligning the needs of various business units with the capabilities provided by our medical management platforms. In this role, you will assist in planning business analysis deliverables and defining problem scopes. You will be responsible for structuring and maintaining medical policy and utilization management requirements traceability. Preparing for requirements elicitation will involve clarifying scope, exploring existing documentation, scheduling analysis activities, and notifying stakeholders. You will conduct business requirement elicitation sessions using various tools, confirming and documenting the results of these sessions. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you prioritize, organize, specify, and validate requirements. You will also assist in modeling these requirements and managing communication around them, particularly reputed company medical management applications such as MHK and InterQual Connect. Additionally, you will support the solution assessment and validation process, ensuring that the needs of the business are met effectively and reputed company. Responsibilities • Assist with planning business analysis deliverables and problem scope definition. , • Plan, structure and maintain medical policy and utilization management requirements traceability. , • Prepare for requirements elicitation by clarifying scope, exploring existing documentation, scheduling analysis activities, and notifying stakeholders. , • Assist with business requirement elicitation sessions using shadowing or other tools as needed. , • Confirm and document results of elicitation sessions. , • Analyze requirements by prioritizing, organizing, specifying and validating. , • Assist with modeling requirements. , • Manage and communicate requirements, specifically reputed company medical management applications such as MHK and InterQual Connect. , • Assist with solution assessment and validation process. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and applicable work experience. , • 1 - 2 years business analysis experience or transferable business experiences. , • Awareness of business analysis industry trends and best-practices. , • Awareness of elicitation tools and techniques and how they are used. , • Understanding of functional versus non-functional (quality of service) requirements. , • Familiarity with the fundamentals of a Traceability Matrix. , • Good verbal and written communication skills. , • Good business writing skills. , • Analytical skills. , • Organizational skills. , • Interpersonal skills. , • Awareness of MS Visio. , • Ability to navigate in ambiguous situations with some guidance and mentoring. , • Ability to deal with situations holistically. , • Self-starter with a focus on delivering high quality service to customers. , • Ability to identify the root cause of problems to identify effective solutions. reputed company-to-haves • Experience with medical management applications such as MHK and InterQual Connect. , • Familiarity with reputed company industry standards and regulations.
