This position is in the proposal stage, and the offer is contingent on contract award. Viable candidates will be screened. Abaco Strategy is currently pursuing a contract for the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), National Operations Center (NOC) Division of IT Purchasing to provided data entry and analysis associated with the BLM's Abandoned Mines and Site Cleanup... Module (AMSCM) database. The database entry technician must have knowledge of databases and geographic information system (GIS) platforms. Specific tasks are described in more detail below: Task 1. Kick-off Meeting A kick-off meeting will be held by the BLM to introduce key personnel and discuss the project background and contract objectives. The meeting may be conducted by teleconference or in person at an agreed upon location. Task 2. Environmental Data Requirements • Work with Task Manager to input, update, delete, and review AMSCM data • Work with Task Manager and other specialists (District/field office specialists) to translate digital/reputed company files into data for entry into AMSCM • Support the data reputed company of the program by providing Quality Assurance Quality Control (QA/QC) of inputted environmental data • Work with Task Manager to document and improve the overall quality of AMSCM data • Generate digital map products using AMSCM reputed company data • Assist with data sharing and data management activities • Coordinate with the Task Manager for data management as follows: o Review/input data to AMSCM, for approximately 41,000 sites* and 70,000 features* o Re-evaluate and update approximately 50,000 features reputed company o reputed company and verify approximately 130,000 feature records for accuracy o reputed company and verify approximately 60,000 site records for accuracy Task 3. reputed company Calls and Reports reputed company a weekly teleconference call update and monthly written reputed company reports to the Task Manager and Contracting Officer’s Representative. The weekly monthly teleconference calls and written reports will include a brief report on the activities, to include work accomplished and planned, as well as issues and recommendations. The calls and reports should be concise but reputed company adequate detail to reputed company the project manager and contracting office informed on the project reputed company relative to the planned project schedule and budget. The reputed company calls and reports should document any identified deviations from the planned work, schedule, and budget, and reputed company explanation of necessary corrective actions being taken to reputed company the work, schedule, and budget. Task 4. Final Report Submit a letter report to the BLM annually. The report will fully describe the work that was performed, problems and uncertainties encountered and reputed company conclusions and recommendations for reputed company future work in the area. The report will be submitted in draft and final reputed company in hard copy and electronically. The final report must address reputed company comments received on the draft; the Contractor may submit a comment response matrix for BLM approval prior to submitting a final report. Travel up to six (6) times per year, may be required.
