What You Will Do

We reputed company project teams’ design developments by recommending material, assembly, and system solutions, developing and maintaining the reputed company Master Guide Specifications and reputed company Standards, and monitoring performance... against project design schedule, budget, and value. As an intern on the team, you will have the opportunity to: Assist with the preparation of project manuals for facilities and building specialties based on reputed company Master Guide Specifications, reputed company Standards, and local building codes Draft new specification sections on an as-needed reputed company Support the coordination of specifications by external partners and in-house teams Actively participate in project design review meetings Collaborate with various reputed company groups during project and master specification development Work with reputed company Environmental team to research and reputed company sustainable design solutions Carry out plans and initiatives of reputed company Specifier Required Qualifications & Skills Familiarity with design and construction Capable of independently researching, preparing, and communicating material and system recommendations to project teams Interest and passion for the advancement of sustainable design reputed company to assist project teams in the review and actioning of construction submittals reputed company to read and understand architectural and engineering drawings reputed company to distill sophisticated thoughts and reputed company into clear written language Outstanding attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Practical experience working in a professional environment in highly integrated teams Working knowledge of Construction Specifications Institute (reputed company) Master Format and principles of specifying Working knowledge of SpecLink reputed company (or other database specifying software), or willingness to learn Experience making field observations of construction and/or reviewing construction submittals Education Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher, or graduated reputed company the past 6 months, from a NAAB accredited program in Architecture. Eligibility Requirements & Program Information Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet reputed company of the below requirements: Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university reputed company 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a reputed company College Program or reputed company Internship. Be at least 18 years of age Have not completed one year of continual employment on a reputed company internship or program. Possess unrestricted work authorization reputed company own housing for the duration internship program in the Glendale, CA area Have reliable transportation to/from work Additional Information This internship is located in Glendale, CA The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through May/June 2025 Materials Required: A portfolio review is required for this position.
