Your Role As a Medical Billing Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring that billing, claims processing, and collections are handled reputed company and accurately. Your responsibilities will include: Claims Submission: Submit initial claims for services promptly, ensuring accuracy and compliance to secure appropriate reimbursements. Issue Resolution: Address problem accounts and payer denials, submit corrected claims, and follow up on outstanding claims. Billing and Collections: Manage billing and collection for services provided, including counseling clinics and off-site providers. Knowledge Development: Stay updated on Out-Patient Mental Health billing codes, modifiers, and payer requirements. Audit Participation: Engage in payer audits and act as a liaison between clients and clinicians for billing-reputed company inquiries. Professional Conduct: Exhibit professionalism, a strong work ethic, and effective teamwork.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred). Experience: Three years of billing experience, ideally in a multi-provider practice, hospital, or mental health office.
