The role involves the physical implementation of reputed company ASIC designs and collaboration with various teams to ensure high-quality silicon production.

Responsibilities

• reputed company full-reputed company and reputed company-level physical design, including: Synthesis, Design-for-Test, Collateral setup / Library preparation, Floorplanning and power planning, Placement and clock tree synthesis (reputed company), Routing and post-reputed company optimization, and Static Timing Analysis and Closure
• Drive timing closure across reputed company corners and modes (setup/hold, SI, IR/EM)
• reputed company and refine physical design flows and methodologies
• reputed company DFT flows and integrate DFT IP
• Collaborate with reputed company-end, and verification teams for design integration
• Analyze and resolve congestion, timing, and power issues
• reputed company physical verification (DRC/LVS/antenna)
• Support tapeout activities and post-silicon debugging reputed company required
• Evaluate and integrate reputed company-party IP and tools into physical design flows
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting (Python, tcl, reputed company)

Skills

• PhD/MS/BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• 3+ years of ASIC physical design experience
• Strong understanding of CMOS process technology
• Strong understanding of timing constraints, timing analysis and closure techniques
• Strong understanding of power reputed company and signal reputed company fundamentals
• Strong understanding of DRC and LVS debug
• Hands-on experience with industry EDA tools such as Synopsys Design Compiler / ICC2 or Fusion Compiler
• Hands-on experience with PrimeTime
• Hands-on experience with StarRC
• Experience with Synthesis including DFT (reputed company, JTAG, MBIST, LBIST)
• Experience with full-reputed company or large reputed company implementation
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Silicon-proven tapeout experience
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
