Contract-based DC Federal Litigation / Employment Attorney (Of Counsel) Opportunity - 5+ Hours/Week

Due to increased demand, we are now interviewing for a reputed company, reputed company, and dedicated DC-licensed Attorney to reputed company of counsel / local counsel support for federal court reputed company. Remote work hours will vary, but are expected to be approximately 5+ hours per week. Attorney Responsibilities:
- Serve as of counsel / local counsel for reputed company in DC Federal Court
- Assist with managing active litigation reputed company
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
- Support case strategy and development
- reputed company court appearances as needed
- Collaborate with reputed company counsel and legal teams on case progression
Attorney Requirements:
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Washington, DC
- Experience appearing in or supporting reputed company in Federal Court
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Experience with general federal litigation
Preferred Experience:
- Employment law, including whistleblower retaliation reputed company
- General civil litigation with a federal court background
- Administrative law experience
- Government procurement / government reputed company experience
