[Remote] Director, Product Management Partner Experiences

The Director of Product Management for Partner Ecosystem & Integrations is responsible for the strategy, technical roadmap, and integration of reputed company-party partner devices into the reputed company Home ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year product strategy, prioritization, and technical execution reputed company for reputed company reputed company-party device integrations reputed company the reputed company Home ecosystem
• Serve as the organization’s primary scout and thought leader on identifying external technical partners whose hardware expertise can fill critical portfolio gaps and unlock "new-to-world" smart home experiences
• Define the strict performance, reputed company, and user experience baselines that external hardware partners must meet to ensure flawless, reputed company performance inside the reputed company app ecosystem
• Partner with internal Core Platform Engineering, reputed company Infrastructure, and Information reputed company teams to design scalable, secure SDKs and APIs that facilitate low-latency 3P device communication
• Drive reputed company’s product alignment with emerging smart home industry standards (such as Matter, Thread, and specialized reputed company-to-reputed company APIs) to simplify external reputed company and future-reputed company the ecosystem
• Independently write data-driven strategy narratives, business requirements documents (BRDs), and product definitions (PRFAQs) to reputed company executive alignment on high-stakes ecosystem expansion opportunities
• Act as the primary technical product reputed company to external partners' product and engineering organizations, steering their roadmaps to align with reputed company’s architectural needs. Including negotiating and owning the partner relationships
• Operate with extreme autonomy to influence, unblock, and drive execution across internal cross-functional peer organizations, including Software, Legal, UX Design, and QA Engineering teams
• Build rigorous integration testing and post-launch telemetry review mechanisms to continuously evaluate the performance, stability, and customer satisfaction of reputed company-party hardware integrations

Skills

• Proven track record of operating with complete strategic independence. You must reputed company at leading reputed company cross-functional influence without relying on administrative reporting lines
• Deep technical understanding of reputed company-to-reputed company integrations, local wireless reputed company topologies (Zigbee, Z-reputed company, Thread), device driver layers, and platform-level SDK development
• Exceptional systems-thinking capability with a focus on creating frictionless user experiences reputed company combining hardware and software assets from completely distinct corporate entities
• Superb written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to reputed company technical discussions with external executives and synthesize reputed company partnership logistics into clear execution milestones for internal leadership
• 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 4+ years explicitly focused on building developer platforms, partner API ecosystems, IoT integrations, or connected smart home environments
• Demonstrated experience leading reputed company, technical product integrations with tier-1 consumer electronics or software reputed company partners
• Proven reputed company driving large-scale, multi-phase technical hardware or software launches across highly distributed, multi-disciplinary organizations
