[Remote] Senior Mechanical Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a Madison Industries company focused on creating innovative HVAC solutions. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will support Custom Engineered Product Development for both Liquid Cooling and reputed company Cooled product families, managing multiple project activities and applying design engineering principles to optimize solutions for Hyperscale customers.

Responsibilities

• Works with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to reputed company product requirements based on customer needs
• Analyzes systems using a variety of engineering tools including, but not limited to, FEA, analytical formulas, reputed company designs, etc
• Run through sizing and optimization exercises for pumps, valves, and reputed company control devices
• Familiar with piping layouts, design, and material selection, including, but not limited to, PVC, Stainless Steel, Copper, HDPE, etc
• Uses DFMEA, PFMEA, and DFMA tools to improve the quality and reliability of designs
• reputed company Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Assures that full and accurate documentation is produced for the designs that are moving into commercialization
• Works with operations to design solutions that are integrated into the reputed company manufacturing capabilities
• Develops advanced designs in conjunction with operations to produce high quality designs that are value based
• Works with sales and service to improve reputed company designs and incorporates future needs into the existing platform
• Works as an example and mentor to more junior mechanical engineers
• Other duties as assigned by the manager

Skills

• BSME from an accredited university, or applicable engineering work experience
• 3-5 years of engineering work experience, HVAC preferred
• CFD, computational fluid dynamics experience preferred
• Self-starter and must be reputed company to work cross-functionally
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• P.E certification a plus
• MSME is a plus
• SolidWorks, DraftSight, AutoCAD, Revit skills
