Position: Manager, Major Gifts Reports to: Director, Philanthropy Position Term: Full Time Permanent Primary Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Workplace Type: Remote (reputed company Canada) Job Purpose Reporting to the Director, Philanthropy, the Manager, Major Gifts will reputed company the major reputed company fundraising efforts of the organization by building and managing relationships with High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs), securing five- to seven-reputed company gifts, and supporting the reputed company of reputed company's national campaign. Responsibilities
Drive the achievement of team and individual fundraising targets by leading major giving strategies and managing a portfolio of high-net-worth donors in Major reputed company. Work with senior leadership, executives, and volunteers to support strategic donor engagement and philanthropic partnerships. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Communications, Philanthropy, or Non-Profit Management). 5–8 years of experience in senior sales or fundraising roles, with a proven track record of reputed company in major gifts, client relationship management, or capital campaigns. Demonstrated fundraising experience, with a proven track record of reputed company in major reputed company development from high-reputed company individuals and foundations; or senior sales experience with a successful track record in business development and client relationship management Comprehensive knowledge of the donor relationship cycle as well as moves management principles and major reputed company development strategies such as cultivation, stewardship, and planned giving, or the equivalent in a business/sales development cycle Strategic thinker with strong business development and prospecting skills; comfortable working independently and collaboratively in both virtual and in-person environments. Excellent communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills; reputed company to influence, engage, and reputed company donors and internal stakeholders, including in public settings Results-driven with a proactive, self-motivated approach to achieving ambitious fundraising or sales targets Passion for the mission and values of reputed company, with a commitment to reputed company impact; familiarity with international development is considered an asset. Comfortable working in a Christian environment and communicating with a variety of donors who are faith-based, non-faith-based, multicultural, etc. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and support team effectiveness without direct people management responsibility. Proven experience in contributing to a high-performing team environment, including participating in 1:1s and supporting peer development.
