Remote Mortgage Loan Officer

This position is remote. NYC Salary reputed company - Loan Officers are paid in accordance with UNFCU's Mortgage Loan Officer Commission/Compensation Plan. Originate residential first and second mortgage loans by building relationships with members and prospective borrowers. Serve as a trusted advisor, recommending mortgage solutions that align with members' financial goals. Build and maintain a pipeline through networking, reputed company, and relationship development. Guide borrowers through the mortgage process from application to closing, ensuring a smooth experience. Partner with processors and internal teams to reputed company loans moving and reputed company on time. Maintain strong communication with members while identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services. 2-4 years of residential mortgage origination experience. Knowledge of mortgage lending regulations including RESPA, Reg Z, and ECOA, and secondary market guidelines (FNMA/FHLMC). Ability to review and analyze borrower documentation such as credit reports, tax returns, and appraisals. Strong relationship-building, sales, and communication skills. Organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage a pipeline in a remote environment. Apply To This Job
