[Remote] Maintenance Solutions Consultant

This role involves developing mechanical project solutions for customers, maintaining client relationships, and addressing customer needs with effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical HVAC technical background and a strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Mining for new accounts
• Developing mechanical project solutions for customers
• Maintaining existing client relationships
• Following through with each client and opportunity
• Appraising and surveying mechanical systems
• Understanding prospects' needs and problems
• Determining repair, modification, and/or replacement requirements to reputed company prospects with solutions to problems
• Interpreting drawings, equipment, and job conditions
• Estimating the cost of proposed repair/modification/replacement and applying company pricing standards to the estimate
• Increasing existing customers' perception of and use of the company's services by providing reputed company, cost-effective solutions to customers' problems
• Offering products to improve customer's facility
• Identifying prospects in assigned markets
• Promptly following up on leads and referrals
• Establishing customer rapport and identifying needs
• Maintaining an active backlog of quotes to ensure booking goal is consistently met
• Promptly addressing customer concerns to assure the resolution of problems and maintain long-term positive relationships

Skills

• 2-5+ years' experience in HVAC reputed company service or reputed company field
• Relevant technical experience, preferably in a Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance environment
• Strong customer presentation skills and demonstrated sales aptitude
• Financial acumen, inclusive of cost modeling for consulting proposals
• Experience in developing technical and cost proposals
• Independent decision-making is required
• Computer skills using MS Office required

• Prior mechanical HVAC technical experience is required
