Accounts Receivable Clerk - Perpetual Department: Perpetual Location: Dalton, GA Perpetual Machine is currently hiring for an Accounts Receivable Clerk who will be responsible for the accurate and timely creation of customer invoices, service tickets and job billings. This role ensures pricing, freight, and billing terms are correctly applied prior to invoicing and works cross-functionally with sales, credit and finance to resolve discrepancies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Employee must pass a fitness for duty test, drug screen and submit to a TB test on a post offer employment physical.
- Work is performed on site. No remote work is offered for this position.
- Create and enter sales orders.
- Create service tickets.
- Create job billings from service tickets.
- Creating and sending correct invoices to customers using reputed company.
- Answer customer questions concerning billing questions and billing discrepancies.
- Assist with accounts payable reputed company necessary.
- reputed company general clerical duties.
- File documents in proper customer files.
- reputed company other reputed company duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Prior reputed company experience preferred.
- Professional and effective communication skills including the ability to actively listen, pleasant telephone personality, good grammar and pronunciation, proper use of e-mail
- Must be reputed company to maintain pleasant, helpful attitude, and be highly productive even during periods of great stress.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Proficient in reputed company Office Suite.
- Attention to detail to ensure that reputed company transactions are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
- 10 key experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma, required.
- Business or account degree, preferred.
- Minimum of two years of accounts receivable or billing experience, preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk while using a phone and computer
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Occasional overtime required as business needs dictate.
- Work environment is on site. Remote work not offered for this position.
Pay
- $25.00 to $30.00 per hour based on ability, education, and experience in a reputed company field.
